There’s nothing like a beach day in October! Ahh. In South Carolina, our summers get HOTTTT. So every October & May we get to experience California beach weather - 70s - it’s my favorite time of year to be on the beach! I’ll take a beach walk any day of the year hot or cold - but October is ideal :)
Now onto my #OOTD!
Let’s start with my shorts - I bought these shorts a few months ago from GAP clearance - I had no expectations for them - but OH MY WORD - they are my FAVORITE shorts! My lower half is not my favorite half - so anytime I can find flattering bottoms - I snatch them up and want to by 157438x more pairs :) I have found that shorts that are more ‘mom approved’ and not shorties tend to be more flattering for my body type. I know many beautiful women that can rock shorties with their model legs - but not this girl - gotta stick to what’s flattering. These are high rise 3” denim shorts with a frayed edge. To me, these are true to size. For reference, I am 5’5” size 26 / 2 bottoms and size small top.
Next we have my ruffle top - eek! I just LOVE ruffles! Truly can’t get enough ruffles! I have linked my very favorite Old Navy top! I have it in 3 colors - Black, White, and Black & White Stripes. Hurry Hurry, this top is selling out fast! Go shop! I own this top in an XS & S. The top I am wearing in this picture is a terrycloth fabric that I got on clearance at Banana Republic a few months back.
Finally we have your must have black hat! This hat can be worn year-around and it is the BEST! I am very much so a hat girl, I’m in a hat in at least 80% of my outfits - you will be too once you buy this hat :)
