Today, I am sharing my ‘Hump Day & Camel’ look with y’all - what better day to wear camel tones than hump day?! I have linked similar and some identical pieces below so you can shop my look! Make sure to follow along for upcoming sales & how to style for less!
Now onto my #OOTD!
Let’s start with my shorts - I purchased these shorts back in 2012 from J. Crew - & OH MY WORD - they are my FAVORITE white denim shorts! Like I was sharing yesterday in my Blog Post - see below!
My lower half is not my favorite half - so anytime I can find flattering bottoms - I snatch them up and want to by 157438x more pairs :) I have found that shorts that are more ‘mom approved’ and not shorties tend to be more flattering for my body type. I know many beautiful women that can rock shorties with their model legs - but not this girl - gotta stick to what’s flattering. These are mid rise 3” denim shorts with a folded edge. To me, these are true to size. For reference, I am 5’5” size 26 / 2 bottoms and size small top.
Next we have my camel H&M sweater! I own this sweater in 3 colors - white, charcoal, and camel - it is a closet staple! Perfect to pair with a bralette, layer with a lace cami, or layer with a chambray button-down underneath! For only $18 you just can’t say no!
Now onto my FAVORITE shoes! I bought these bad boys back in May - then fell in love so much I went back and purchased the black pair in July! They’re on major sale now - so snag a color or 2 - you won’t regret it! These are kind of true to size - I am a 7 - 8 in shoes - I bought these in an 8 so I would recommend sizing up a little.
Who else loves cheap trendy sunnies?!? Me, Me, Me! I own these sunnies in 2 different shades - the perfect price for trendy sunnies that one day we’ll be shocked we ever wore :) Ceej calls these my hippie John Lennon sunnies - and that makes me love them even more!
Finally we have your must have summer beige hat! Y’all know how much I love hats - so of course I have to have every shade of neutral - which includes this Lovelier Hat! I bought the one I am wearing from Nordstrom Rack a year or 2 ago. I have linked an extremely similar Anthropologie hat - and their hats are simply stunning with excellent quality.
