Life Lately

Happy Thursday Lovelies!

I want to share some Life Lately with y'all! No big news - just crazy life :)

At the end of July, I went to Dallas for a week for work then met my amazing husband in Chicago for the weekend for an awesome family wedding! We had SO. MUCH. FUN. That Saturday morning was definition perfect of us - we still talk about how perfect it was. We had a relaxing morning in our stunning Langham room - then ventured to Intelligentsia Coffee for literally the BEST coffee I've ever had! Then we walked through the park for a while holding hands - magical :) Then we bought our Chicago Starbucks cup (we collect those.) After Starbucks, we preordered a Giordano's Pizza - YUM - ate it in our room - and the rest is history :) We were having so much fun that we lost track of time (the wedding was at 1pm & reception in the evening) so much so that I didn't do my hair - took it down from a messy bun & ran my fingers through it and then had to do my makeup in 5 minutes including my mascara in the elevator at the Langham - haha - oh this life! After our perfect morning we had an unbelievable day celebrating the wedding with family. Oh - also Friday night in Chicago was out of this world - so fun. 

Then typical life went on - which meant lots of coffee, laughs, work, marshmallow (our goldendoodle), love, and dreaming. 

Next - I went to Atlanta for a week of work - OY. Not good. I made it through work Tuesday & Wednesday then on Wednesday evening I got SO sick - yuck! And I stayed so sick until Saturday late morning. We had to go home early - Thursday night instead of Saturday. I am still in the process of recovering - but getting better every minute - Praise The Lord! And I can actually function now so - praise!

This week we are preparing for the big Newton family reunion! Ceej & I have been together for 6 years & married for 1 - but believe it or not - this is my very first family reunion! Ahh!! I absolutely love Ceej's big family! There's usually around 50 people at the reunion - but this time about 35ish.  They have gone to different beaches over the years - and we're at the beach again this year! There's nothing better than a week at the beach - it heals the soul. We are so excited for love & laughter. So many memories will be made! Follow me on snapchat for a play-by-play!
